Overview

Mood Canvas is designed with your privacy in mind. It collects no personally identifiable information and does not track individual users.

Data we collect

Mood Canvas does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. All mood palettes, history, and settings are stored locally on your device and never leave it unless you choose to export them manually.

Anonymous analytics

Mood Canvas uses TelemetryDeck to collect anonymous, aggregate usage signals. These help me understand how the app is being used so I can improve it. TelemetryDeck is designed from the ground up to be privacy-preserving: signals cannot be traced back to any individual user, and no personal information, device identifiers, or IP addresses are collected or stored.

In-app purchases

Mood Canvas offers optional palette packs for purchase through Apple's App Store. All transactions are processed by Apple. I never receive or store any payment information.

Notifications

If you enable daily reminders, notifications are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notification APIs. No notification data is transmitted to any server.

Data export and import

The export and import features let you save and restore your mood palette history as a JSON file stored on your device. This file is never transmitted to me or to any third party.

Third-party services

Mood Canvas uses one third-party service: TelemetryDeck, for anonymous analytics. Their privacy policy is at telemetrydeck.com/privacy. There are no advertising networks, social media trackers, or data brokers.

Children's privacy

Mood Canvas does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13.

Changes to this policy

If there are material changes to this privacy policy, the date at the top of this page will be updated.
